What to Bring to outdoor Volleyball Events
We’re taking the game outside! To make the most of our outdoor volleyball clinics, here’s your go-to checklist to stay prepared, comfortable, and focused on the fun.
✅ What to Bring:
Athletic shoes or sand socks (depending on court surface)
Knee pads (optional for sand, recommended for grass)
Athletic shorts/spandex + T-shirt or tank top (lightweight & breathable)
Hat or visor
Sunglasses (if comfortable playing in them)
Sunscreen (apply before and bring extra to reapply)
Water bottle (big one — hydration is key!)
Light snacks
Towel (optional, for sweat or sandy feet)
Any necessary medications (inhalers, EpiPens, etc.)
✅ What to Know:
Weather: We play unless it’s lightning or extreme conditions — we’ll text/email if there's a cancellation.
Check-in table will be near the courts.
Bathrooms and water access may be limited – plan ahead.
Phones must stay in bags during training.
Parents welcome to watch – bring chairs or blankets!
💡 Pro Tips:
Shade is limited — bring a hat, sunscreen, and water!
A small drawstring bag or backpack works great for carrying gear.
You may get dusty, sandy, or sweaty — bring a change of clothes if needed.
Stay positive, be vocal, and support your teammates — the vibe is everything!
Leave valuables at home or keep them with a parent/guardian.
Let’s serve up some sunshine, sweat, and serious skill building — see you outside!
